Media Plan

This media plan was developed for Athletic Performance Solution project (Media Management class).

Athlete Performance Solutions (APS) is an official licensee of Nike products for niche sports markets. The company sells sportswear for boxing, weightlifting, fencing, wrestling, rowing and volleyball. The main objective of the campaign was to establish the company as a retailer destination in the niche sport world by increased brand awareness.
It was offered to create a media plan which combines non-traditional and traditional media usage. For traditional media it was suggested to use specialty sport magazines such as “The Ring” (for boxing), “Wrestling USA” (wrestling), “American Fencing”(fencing), “Rowing Magazine” (rowing). Every magazine is mentioned twice - a deadline for sending a copy and a month before the deadline which should remind APS to prepare.  

The media plan was developed for the year of Summer Olympic Games in Brazil. Therefore, it was offered to increase social media posting during this period.

There are posted two months:
- June - the regular month which include routine posting
- August - the month of the Olympic Games in Brazil
